Man of the Match

                                                             NPL - Day 15

In cricket a Man of the Match is the one who plays the game very well. In cricket there can only be one Man of the Match but in life anyone can be the Man of the match if we follow certain rules and conditions.
There was a 70 year old man traveling in an almost empty train. The TC comes to check his ticket. He also asks him to show his photo. The old man shows the photo of God. The TC said that he asked him to show his own photo, The old man then narrated his story as to why he has kept God's photo in his pocket. He explained, "When I was 8 years old, I was in school because of my father. My father was my Role Model and so I had kept his photo in my packet. Later I had excelled in my studies. I felt proud of myself when I looked into the mirror. So I started keeping my photo in the pocket. I then got married and kept my wife's photo in my pocket as I loved her very much. After few years my wife gave birth to a son and left this world. My son was everything to me, so I started keeping his photo in my pocket. He grew up and became against me. He sent me away from home. So finally, I put God's photo for loves us and will always love us. Had I know about this earlier, I would have put God's photo in my pocket during my childhood itself"

"When we are happy and successful, we remember the one's we love , but when we are sad, depressed, frustrated in life,  we remember the one who loves us." Why this controversy in life?
We remember our family members during all good times and we remember God only during our testing times. To become the Man of the Match we need to truly follow God's principles and here are 4 Conditions to achieve this goal:

1. Perfect Pitch:
A Perfect Pitch is required to play the match well. No one can play the game well on a bad pitch. Similarly in life, our perfect pitch is good health. IWhen we have perfect health,  our eyes can see, ears can hear, mind can think and legs can walk.
There is a saying that goes like this," In a healthy body dwells a healthy mind". To keep the body in good health is a duty - otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear
A lady, with her small baby, comes to meet Guruji and take his blessings. Guruji says that he will make the baby listen to God's Name. The lady started crying. Guruji asked her why was she crying. The lady replied that her baby is deaf for his entire life." The baby did not have a perfect pitch.

So we need a perfect pitch - perfect health to live life happily. God has given us perfect health and we are doing the job of destroying it by consuming tobacco, smoking, drinking, watching TV late night, roaming around late night etc. We have ourselves created so much stress and depression in our lives. Advanced technology has actually caused a lot of destruction in our life.  Have we ever visited the mental hospital, the blind school and given a thought that life can be like this as well? Have we thanked God for our perfect health?
Old culture was to USE things how much ever we can, after that came the culture of USE AND THROW,  and now the culture is WITHOUT USE AND THROW. For eg, In weddings and receptions, when people come out, they don't talk about what items were there but what was the price of per plate. We just take items in the plate to taste and throw them away. People have started doing all this just to earn goodwill in the society.
Junk food has become prominent in our lives. In India, the government has set aside a subsidy of one lakh crore for fertilizers. Fruits, vegetables, milk, nothing is worth consuming. All of them have chemicals in them.
To get perfect health there are two mantras:
1. Do not eat food when your not hungry.
2. Eat a little less than your hunger.
So Perfect Pitch(Health) is a Must

2. Perfect Practice:

A cricketer becomes a player in the team only after continuous practice. He first practices on the streets, ground, test matches, etc and then is allowed to enter the team. Perfect Practice is necessary for this as "Practice makes a Man Perfect".
Telling the truth, going to the temple, not using foul language etc., requires practice and over time it becomes a habit. Which is more strong? Water or Stone? A stone can break someone's head but water has the strength to break the stone because of it continuous flow over the stone! Dirt leaves a cloth after continuous washing with the soap. Lottery is for one day but a business has to be handled everyday. We learn cycling after falling numerous times and still practicing. Similarly, Practice makes us perfect in the path of God and his teachings.
What is our mentality in the field of practice? Are we ready for continuity even though there will be ups and downs in our life? Continuity gives birth to interest or interest can also give birth to continuity. To become the Man of the Match, continuous practice is necessary.

3. Perfect Partner:

In cricket, even the best cricketer will fail if his partner is not good. In life, all the family members are each others partners. It is important to maintain good relations with our partner and always support them. What is our mentality in this field? Brothers, Mother- in- laws and daughter - in - laws, father and son, wife and husband are all separating as there is no strength to support each other. Divorce cases in India are increasing and the courts are not able to give verdict on this.
In cricket, even if the baller is very good, he might lose the game if his companion does not play well.
Our culture has been destroyed. A husband has no time for his wife or family members and gone are the times when a wife used to do savings  for her husband. from her pocket money. There is no co-operation and no value for each other. Without perfect pitch, we cannot play the game. Without perfect practice we cannot become technically sound and without a perfect partner we cannot win the game.
"He who takes a Partner, takes a Master."

4. Perfect Pain:
A cricketer sweats a lot while practicing for the match. Without going through some pain he cannot become perfect. In the sector of religion also there will definitely be pain. Without pain, we cannot achieve a single thing in this world. A Saint's life is never easy. What is our mentality and preparation in the field of pain? Have we wondered what are the things that can never be bought with lakhs and crores of money?
The more the pain, the more we would get rewards in our life.

So in Life and in religion, anyone can become the Man of the Match, if we have  perfect pitch, perfect practice, perfect partner and perfect pain! There is no short cut or soft cut, but always long and hard cut in religion.
