CHASE THE RACE

NPL - DAY  12
In  a race, there are three steps
1. Competition
2. Comparison
3. Co-operation

The kind of race in which there is no competition, no comparison, no co-operation, we are alone.
Happiness in this world, when it comes, comes incidentally. Make it the object of pursuit, and it leads us a wild goose chase, and is never attained. Follow some other object, and very possibly we may find that we have caught happiness without dreaming of it. Instead of establishing facts, we have to overthrow errors; instead of ascertaining what is, we have to chase from our imaginations what is not.

A blind man was trying to climb a mountain to worship God in a temple. He falls down and keeps trying to climb. A man comes to help him and asks, " Why are you trying to climb the mountain when you know you cannot reach the temple". The blind man replies," I am climbing the mountain so that God can see me, and this is my goal".

In any type of game, co-operation is required.

Similarly, what is one good thing in you for which you would never compromise anything in the world? How we do reach our goal?

1. Creation (अर्जन):

What is one good thing in us that we have created and not received from your parents or ancestors?
For eg. Some people go to an old age home every sunday, some go to blind home, others give donation or help the poor. We might not be interested in something, but there will be some policies for which we will not compromise. If you want to do some good,  you will be alone in this race and there will be no one to stop you as well. A circle is not a circle if it is not 100% complete. We might not be all rounders, but at least in one filed we can be the best. There is no competition, no comparison and no co-operation, but there is CONFIDENCE in your creation.

2. Storage (संग्रह):

If you earn a profit of Rs 10 Lakhs, that is your creation. You then save the money for your future needs. Similarly, it is important to save or store the good things in life. For eg. We save a good sms in our mobile and we can also forward it.
A man gets down from the train on reaching his destination. He then climbs back to check if he has missed out any luggage. Another man also climbs the train behind him. On being asked why has he climbed the train when he has no luggage, he replied, " I have climbed to check if anyone else has missed out their luggage, so that I can pick them up".
We store wealth, but why don't we store good principles that can guide us in our life. Why have we stored all bad? Hence it is important to store good principles in life. Chase the Race

3. Protection (संरक्षण):

Earning profit of Rs 10 Lakhs is your creation, keeping the money in your pocket is Storage and taking awareness to protect the money is Protection.
In today's world there is no value for Moral's, Values and Culture. There is value for TV serials, mobile, education, friends circle, wealth etc.
Wealth might be attacked once, but our morals and culture are being attacked time and again.

We can know what is our character from the following three things:
1. Who are our friends?
2. What kind of literature we read?
3. What are the kind of places we go to, like temple, theatres etc.

We will be protected from danger, if we do not have bad friends, bad literature and do not go to wrong places. Chase the Race!

4. Growth ( संवर्धन):

If we have a goal of making a profit of Rs 50,000 in a day and we earn the money in one time only, will we still wait for more profit or stop there? Just like it is important to make growth in wealth, why not make growth in our spiritual life?
Don't think, "After my death, what will happen to my family members." But think,"What will happen to me after my death". We have to think about our soul.
When we want growth in wealth, relations, friends, then why don't we want growth in spiritual world?
You are alone in this race. There is no one help you if you do not want to go in this race. But if you have decided to grow, no one can stop you from this.
Guruji of Acharya Shree Vijay Ratna Sundar Surishwarji Marasaheb used to work for 22 hours a day and wrote books even in moon-light. His thoughts were that, this is one life to be awake and grow.

5. Support ( समर्थन):

In life what do we support? Are we in favor of  wealth, ethics, powers,  virtues or preachings of God?
If we know something is good, how much are we spreading the preachings?
It is not necessary to become scientist if you like science, but it necessary to become religious if we like our religion.  We have to experience it ourselves.
For eg. A guest comes home and we serve him milk. He says he wants hot milk. Next, with sugar, in a cup, and with respect. He then drinks the milk. The next day another guest comes and you ask him what would he like to have, milk or tea? He replies he is fasting today.
Whom do we like?

It is easy to conquer and rule the world, but it is difficult to conquer our selves. The people who were able to conquer themselves, have become God.
Let's Chase the Race!
